KONSERTTI: Robert Aeberhard esiintyy galleriassa la 29.4. klo 16.30

Osana Sounds That Shouldn’t Be There -näyttelyä äänitaiteilija Robert Aeberhard esittää lyhyen konsertin galleriatilassa. Konsertin jälkeen taiteilijaesittely. Tervetuloa!

As part of Pekka Niskanen’s and Robert Aeberhard’s exhibition ‘Sounds that shouldn’t be there’ at Photographic Gallery Hippolyte in Helsinki, sound artist Robert Aeberhard performs a short concert with usually inaudible and unwanted sounds. These sound-phenomenons were gathered as field recordings in Paris, Berne and Geneva or they are created live with various devices. By turning them into audible sounds and playing them in a musical context, Robert Aeberhard opens up a universe of sound that usually escapes human perception. The concert is followed by an artist talk with the creators of the exhibition, Pekka Niskanen and Robert Aeberhard.

 

Robert Aeberhard on muusikko ja äänitaiteilija joka asuu ja työskentelee Bernissä, Sveitsissä. Äänitaiteilijana hän on ottanut osaa näyttelyihin ja performasseihin Bernissä ja Pariisissa. Hänen työtään kenttänauhoitusten kanssa voi seurata hänen ääniblogissaan. Bassokitaristina Aeberhard on soittanut yli 600 konserttia Euroopassa. www.dadaad.ch
