The Union has the following committees, supervised by the Board:

Exhibition Committee is responsible for the programme of Photographic Gallery Hippolyte and for the development of other exhibition activities:

Staff representatives: Petronella Grönroos, Mitro Kaurinkoski

Membership Committee processes membership applications and presents them to the Board and to the Annual Meeting:
Marja Helander, Tuula Närhinen and Hanna Weselius

Art Fair Suomi Committee focuses on promoting the sales and marketing of photographic art. It is also responsible for marketing and PR for the Union's annual sales exhibition Art Fair Suomi:
Marja Helander, Ari Kakkinen, Harri Pälviranta, Kari Soinio ja Sakari Viika.

Helsinki Photography Festival Committee plans the festival: Ari Kakkinen, Harri Pälviranta, Kari Soinio, Sakari Viika and Hanna Weselius.
Staff representatives: Mitro Kaurinkoski

The Board selects the committee members, whose term is two years.

Annual meetings and board meetings of the Union

The Union has two statutory meetings a year, a spring meeting, held before the end of April, and an autumn meeting in September-November. The Board meets c. 10 times a year.
