As the core theme in my artistic practise is the interest for nature
conceptions: as landscapes, as parts of the city as global and as universal
phenomena. Why I especially focus on nature conceptions is because the way
people see them selves in relation to nature- and the rest of material, is
very revealing to how being in the world is experienced in general. My works
try to draw attention to how the idea of nature is being used as a commodity
and imagery with in the urban context. Besides nature conceptions what my
works concerns itself with are the structures of research and knowledge:
what is researched, how and why? How is the knowledge achieved gathered,
documented, archived and possibly displayed? What are the premises of
research? What the architecture of the display? The questions I find
adequate also in the field of art. I work with photography, video and text
presented as installations and books.
