Exhibitions
Photographic Gallery Hippolyte hosts 12 gallery exhibitions annually, consisting of photographic or photography-based art. The backbone of the exhibition calendar comprises solo shows by Finnish artists, in addition to which a few shows by foreign artists are held each year. In addition to the main gallery, the sales collection space is occasionally used to mount smaller project exhibitions.
Sales
In addition to hosting exhibitions, the gallery also doubles as a salesroom for work by members of the Union of Artist Photographers. There are a great number of portfolios, catalogues, books and other presentation material on display in the gallery, to give an idea of the range of work available for sale. There are also photographic books, postcards, portfolios and other merchandise on sale.
Exhibition schedule
Exhibition applications can be submitted to Photographic Gallery Hippolyte twice a year. Applications for the next spring season must be submitted by the end of the preceding April, applications for the next autumn season by the end of the preceding October.
For Hippolyte Studio applications can be submitted three times a year.
