Every year around the turn of September and October, the Union of Artist Photographers organises an art exchange event. Entitled hanki (which could be translated as Get it!) the event is open to the public and lasts for almost two weeks. In recent years it has been held at the Cable Factory in Helsinki

The last exchange event was held from 22 September to 1 October 2006 at the Cable Factory. Together with the MUUcafé event organised by the Artists' Association, Muu, hanki06 comprised the second ART FAIR SUOMI event for exchanging contemporary art. At the fair, there were over 400 individual works by about 85 members of the Union of Artist Photographers on display in the Cable Factory.

There were all possible things that fit under the heading photographic art, from small monochromatic works to large C prints and portfolios. MUUcafé in the MUU gallery on Lönnrotinkatu street offered video and media art. Many of the works on display were premiered during the event.
